The Broad Underground Film Series offers monthly screenings (October 30, 2015-April 15, 2016) exploring Video Art and experimental and avant-garde film from its earliest developments to the present day. Each month, faculty from English and Film Studies will present several works with an overarching theme while contextualizing their aesthetic value and meaning within film history. This series is an ongoing collaboration between the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, Film Studies and English faculty at Michigan State University. The Broad Underground Film Series is presented alongside Moving Time: Video Art at 50, 1965-2015 on view at the Broad MSU October 17, 2015 – February 14, 2016.
