Student housing in London is provided by our on-site partner, ACCENT International. Housing will be in furnished, shared flats (British for apartments) within travel zones 1 and 2 – the central area of the city— a short commute by tube (subway) or bus from the ACCENT Study Centre, where classrooms are located. Each flat includes a kitchen, living room, bedrooms and at least one bathroom. Kitchens come equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and kettle. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery are also provided. Bedrooms will be shared by 2 or 3 students, and will always be single sex, though flats may be mixed gender. Bed linens are provided, but students are advised to bring their own towel, or be prepared to purchase one upon arrival. Flats also provide Wi-Fi connectivity, and free laundry facilities either in unit or in communal areas of the building.
Exact locations cannot be guaranteed, but all flats will be in safe neighborhoods in zones 1 and 2. If needed for visa and immigration purposes, students should use the address of the ACCENT Study Centre:
12 Bedford Square
London, WC1B 3JA
Please note that late withdrawals from London programs (within 8 weeks of departure) will incur cancellation charges up to the full cost of student housing, in accordance with the Study Abroad cancellation policy, as housing is a non-recoverable expense within that time.
Before departure for the program, students should expect to receive some direct communication from ACCENT International, including some online forms which should be read carefully as they contain important information regarding London and program housing. These forms must be completed before students depart for their program.
